I bet if ntuc kenna this situation, they won't apologies.
Instead, they give long back story of how stringent their processes are, how they prioritise quality and after investigation, found and disciplined that one staff that was responsible.

And they will thank you for the feedback.

Apology is the first thing any decent human or organisation will definitely do if facts of wrong or error are established to be true, and not full of nonsense excuse or "pushing away". Definitely not "nonsense" or "cocky" reply or response.

Giant supermarket apology and reply is very decent and human 👍. Mindset is right. Hope things get better and no recurrence of error.
