software locked (hence people went through Xda guide to force enable 5g - need root if I remember correctly) which probably also why google needs to work with local carriers Take a look at their pixel 5G support page.
Google already removed *don't be evil* code of conduct.
Now Chao Kwan, buy their phone also can't taste 5G :spin:

Sent from EDMWER app!

An ok upgrader?
Pixel 2 has no ois.

Anyway. I no high hopes for pixel one la.
Always hype and hype. Then v disappointing when come out.

Pure android experience. Er , ok. I whatsapps, call, launch chrome, snap picture, browse gallery nia. I dunno what u all do with Ur phone such that this pure android experience is so orgasmic. Imho all the same. What's the hype.

Picture wise, Actually china phones have gone far beyond pixel Liao for same price range. I say 4a was a good deal cos for 499, no phone come close to what it can offer, except now for Samsung a52 which beats it soundly.

besides the vanilla android experience, fans will normally say it’s about the contrasty look to the picture.. comparable to dslr look:s22:

Generally nowadays the UI have improved a lot, but still bloated compared to the vanilla experience.
Security wise, pixel have a edge still, that's if you even care about it.
Nowadays other brands have catch up and provide more timely updates.

if spec wise, yea pixel has been behind, thats why pixel 6 got the hype cause it's been a while since they touch "higher end" specs. A more "flagship" experience so to speak.

Hopefully they capitalise on the hype, but judging from the not worldwide launch, maybe this "flagship" doesn't match others :o

We can only hope, not like we have SG launch anyway :s13:

1) Google Pixel 6 series will be available in select countries, including the USA, the UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, Taiwan.

2) The smartphone will be available in these countries at launch, though the Mountain View company may also bring it to more markets at a later date.
