I am in this thread to laugh at Threadstarter and EDMW kum gong kias.

The "correct" policy such as this is based on, among other things, availability/abundance of the different types of vaccines and the demand for them.

As the availability/abundance of vaccines and demand for them are not static but changing over time, the "correct" policy should also change over time.

If for some reasons, the availability/abundance of the various types of vaccines become extremely limited again, the "correct" policy will again be "cannot choose vaccines".

Kum gong kias' think the "correct" policy remain static regardless of changes in the situation and so they think negatively of any change in policy even when it is actually common sense to adjust/amend policies accordingly as situation changes.

The "correct" policy at this juncture is "vaccination is voluntary". However, if this COVID-19 pandemic deteriorates significantly in the future and continues to persist far too long, the "correct" policy may become "Vaccination is compulsory/mandatory". Kum gong kias will think negatively that the Singapore government flip prata again even when it is correct to change policy due to a change in situation.

This thread is another good example of "Kum gong kias are 1 cent a dozen in EDMW". Hahahaha.

Whether healthy should wear mask is dependent on, among other things, information relating to (1) how widespread the infection already is, (2) the health impact of an infection to a person, (3) how contagious the virus is, (4) how much protection a mask has against infection and (5) availability/abundance of masks. Given the information and the situation in Singapore early during the COVID-19 pandemic, "Healthy do not need to wear mask" was a "correct" policy. As the situation changes, the "correct" policy also change. Frankly, this is common sense. If this COVID-19 pandemic dies down and the infected rate becomes very low again in the future, "Healthy do not need to wear mask" will become the "correct" policy again.

problem is this isnt the scenario kgk is painting. all along the warzone, aka wuhan, is wearing masks, and a lot of it was purloined from us. miw keep downplaying they got caught with their pants down on the local shortage, using kenneth mak and gang to discredit petitions by local doctors. in the end they cough up the money and emptied all cloth mask from ntuc/pharmacy to give residents.......which should be thing to do in the beginning since keechiu got leaked they did not want to create a panic on surgical masks. blaming it on WHO when u said u had a 17 year old play book is like duh. the scenario didnt change, its bcos their iron teeth resulted in the dorm explosion.........

Learn to look at the mirror before naming people kum gong kia, "Healthy do not need to wear mask" was never a "correct" policy during any stages of any pandemic unless masks are proven to be useless to prevent transmission or reduce transmission rate. The escalation of infected covid cases in Singapore last year is the definite proof that policy is "wrong":.
