Any idea which Aircon brand & model can easily remove the blower wheel and condenser tray? Mitsubishi?

Been doing DIY cleaning for years. About time to replace new unit so want something that's easy to dismantle.

midea QC i dont know ok or not. but look super easy to remove and clean

if you get midea will you get warranty?
Ermm...warranty depends. Did a brief research, it seems Midea is quite reliable with plenty of aftermarket parts. Many users quite please with the performance.

Warranty most likely standard like others.

Very much cheaper, super easy to maintain and replace PCB.

I think its a worthy consideration.

thanks i think i try my luck to get midea all easy pro, hopfully sg got version 2 soon

if AC can DIY clean for 5yr and use for 5yr no problem can almost get new one

Vendor charge $50 X 4 times per yr = $200, so 5yr is $1k of cleaning. almost can get new AC liao

301 vs 306

What the different?
Actually, you can probably use the humble laundry soap powder, although a bit more inconvenient.

If you worked with cars, and your hands turn black with carbon and soot. You can't wash it off with regular soap bar. But if you wash with laundry powder, they will come right off. Try it next time. No need to use strong chemical like caustic soda, that bites your hand, and damage aluminum.
And we all know laundry soap powder doesn't damage your clothing either. :D

Midea has improved by leaps and bounds.
I'd buy Midea A/C next time, since I'm able to DIY clean.
I was waiting for other suppliers to catch up to Starmex for easy maintenance, but so far I've not seen any improvement. :D

no1 starmex
no2 dalkin

no4 midea

both no3 and no4 are almost evenly match.

Yes. There's a reason why these 4 r top 4. Easy to source parts, reliable. Good warranty and easy to dismantle.
