imagine a baby or a kid between 2 and 5 years old starts crying. The worst one is 5 years old kid crying cos it can get very loud

and a boomer suddenly stomach ache

and another person having wuhan and didnt wear mask then start coughing

The emergency release button is pneumatic (yes, even for the rear door that is electric), basically pressing it releases air that triggers a switch which disables the door function. Under UNECE, this emergency function must be disabled above 5km/h for safety reasons.

Such an issue, whereby emergency release is not working correctly, is most likely due to erroneous speed information being read by the door ECU.

The remedy is simple, remember I said the emergency release is pneumatic? Simply ¹turn off the engine (to stop the air compressor from building pressure), ²continuously depress the brakes to bleed off all the air. Once the system has no pressure, the door will release on its own.

I guess Go-ahead first time encounter this issue. Another operator has faced this issue before, they are clever enough to remedial the problem on site.
