Have you stopped patronizing a hawker stall because they only accept cash?

Recently, I halted eating at a chicken rice stall.
They only accept cash. No e-payment or e-CDC. E-payment is convenient. No need to have a bulky wallet.

Lately, I disliked handling cash because of unhygienic stigma, in my view. E-pay has loyalty points, rebates

The chicken rice was nice. Told the owner to apply but he said the procedures were difficult, no assistance offered, blah blah blah.

For you,

Delicious Food or

Convenience?

Me opposite, I will usually not buy if don't accept cash if there's another option, unless there is a 10% discount for cashless like ntuc or timbre app. I like using cash, i can calculate the change, keeps my maths working.

some of them write down their PayNow phone numbers on a piece of paper, those want to pay cashless will go through the leche process of entering the numbers and verifying its identity. If I go there often, I would tell them to print their QR code instead. I would suggest that they ask their family member to help. If they trust me , I can help them to print, but I try to avoid that.

I would not patronize any store that only accepts cashless payment. If you are such a germaphobe then maybe you should look up how much germs you are really exposed to just by eating chicken rice instead of just thinking about transmissions via cash. Now you know why kids nowadays have crappy immune system.

I hate those people only take out their phone to scan the qr and key in the amount slowly.
Wasting every one time
Ya. Ironically nowadays the one holding up he queue usually is some joker trying to use paynow/paylah. Some people poor internet, some laggy phone, some are just a bit slow. Wallet where got bulky lol. I just pay cash,1-2s gao dim liao. The hawkers are always extremely proficient in cash. Go Japan also pay in cash is better.

And because of cashless, even if youvuse contactless to pay, we all end up paying more. The POS terminal is not free you know?
