My first HFE this Jan took nearly one month to approve. Might be due to loads of backlog applications to clear. Both me and hb are not in debt and no properties too. This time round i am not so sure, hopefully will be fast.
I think it depends on when you apply, I applied on Aug, it was approved within a few days... If close to launch date, confirm take longer... better apply early

I have send feedback to the Manager who's in handling my case using the link HDB provided to me earlier requesting to expedite my HFE application and she acknowledge. Hope for the best and finger crossed.

BTO applns very high, HDB already inform of the HFE timeline, but if you just applied earlier only only HFE just expired, maybe still got chance.
Those or parents who had gotten proximity scheme or grants, do not "tikam" lah as though the system will overlook. Maybe should impose punishment for wasting processing time of staff!

It's my mistake for overlooking on my parent's taking the grant part. As my HFE expired since Sept and HDB did mention i do not need to apply again as previously I gotten my ballot number. So it's just a small request on my part. It's up to their decision.

Due to my parents proximity grant when they brought 2nd hand hdb. No more invitation cos already cancelled. This is HDB rules, you can't oppose them in anyway.

Too bad, HDB won't allow that as my parents already stay 2.5years in the resale flat, need to serve another 2.5years before i can ballot flat more than 4km. Now just have to wait for HFE approval which i already request for HDB to expedite. Highly doubt can ballot for Oct BTO @ Bukit Batok in time. Pray hard.
