Help Needed (Choice of MacBook Air)

Hi,

I'm actually looking to purchase a Macbook Air for my studies. I sometimes game occasionally (DOTA 2, CS-GO). The reason why I'm choosing MBA cause its light portable, and love the experience of OS X. The choice that I have is:

MacBook Air 2014 (i7, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Intel 5000)
MacBook Air 2015 (i5, 4GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Intel 6000)

Both are of similar pricing as offered to me. Which should I get? And what is the difference actually? Besides, I know Haswell & Broadwell has slight minor difference only right?

It's not gonna be optimal for either machines to drive the 2 games mentioned even at low/lowest settings.

Even my MacBook Pro 2015 heats up to 70/80 degree when on lowest settings on dota 2. Not advisable.

u wanna game on mba is quite impossible

unless you are telling me you play with bots for dota2/csgo
else during clash 5v5 sure lag

u can get a 15" rmbp with gpu for $3k++

but for the price you can get a mba + win10 laptop with gpu
