Strange how come pple can earn enuff to buy car but brain don’t grow in tandem.
u drive your car, don’t tell me u never notice the “full” can drive longer than when past that point .
this is sufficient to tell you tank and guage is not entirely linear already .

This is second time, but the liters of petrol charged when I go to the petrol station for refill seems to be more than I expected…

latest puzzle - My car model the standard petrol tank capacity is 50L.

how is it when I have a quarter left on the car fuel meter, and haven’t reached the refill red line, that the petrol station charged me 49.1L for the petrol?

is there any easy way for drivers to verify whether petrol station is charging us the right volume of petrol put into the car tank?
IMHO.

Way 1 :-
Drive until the low fuel icon lights up.
Drive to the nearest petrol station and pump until auto stop.
Do that at different petrol station - should be more or less the same.

Way 2 :-
Caltex Holland Pump 5 and Pump 11 for Ron95.
I use those pump many times over a long period of time.
Those two pumps is what I expect.

Way 3 :-
Buy a 20L container. Pump into the container. Measure the weight.
P.S. Not sure if the petrol station will sell to you like that.
