Something doesn’t sit right with me, what iOS are you on and when is the last time you discharge your battery below 10% and charge back to 100%?

iOS 18.6.2, almost nvr run down to below 10% before hahaha

yeah, you might be right that there’s issue with the calibration and did not capture the true battery health condition

The funny thing is my 15 Pro (100%, 660 cycle counts) is outlasting my 16 Pro (100%, 255 cycle counts) in battery performance.

15 Pro is on iOS 18, 16 Pro on iOS 26. We can’t ignore the impact of iOS 26 on battery life.

13 is battery king out of 11/12/13/14/15.

My 13PM battery health still 87%.

ps if this question been asked but if no more applecare/warranty, how much to replace screen (due to green line) and battery at apple store?

are these estimate correct? $500 for screen, $150 for battery?

Those estimates should be correct if you send into an Apple Store.

Out of warranty repairs are costly with Apple, but you can assurance going direct.

Nah, 15 series known to be problematic with heating issue IIRC.
If you don' need the latest then just get the 16 series instead, it should be readily available still too as compared to 15 series.

16 series supposedly have better heat management design etc. after the overheating issues from 15 series.
IIRC I skipped 15 series because of this.

You can pretty much skip the lineup from 15 to 16 pro.. bad heat and horrendous battery life...16 pro max onwards/16e is fine..

I have the 16PM and have been fine, can't comment about the rest of 16 series though.
16e don't bother, it's just a repackaged 15 which is even worst IIRC.

Mainly the battery life and due to smaller size heat dissipation also worse..
