Hi all,

There are too many android phones in the market and it is very confusing. I'm looking for a 5.5" phone with performance on par with the iPhone 6. By performance I mean speed of opening apps, browsing, playing games like Pokemon Go.

Ranking my criteria in order of importance -

1. CPU and RAM - performance at least as good as iPhone 6.
2. Display quality - colors, resolution, etc
3. Weight
4. Battery life
5. Camera least important.

Budget about $750 without contract. Because if I cannot find a 5.5" phone that meets these criteria I will buy the Samsung S7 which is at that price.

If you already have many paid apps on iOS better stick to it.

Top up a little more for S7 edge...

Redmi Note 3 can never find itself on par with iPhone 6..

Else Apple will close down.

It's a surprisingly good phone for it's price!
Sure it will probably not par up in some areas such as in the camera department, but from some iPhone users who made the switch, they were pleasantly suprised for a Budget mid range phone :)

If you can, why not give ASUS Zenfone 3 5.5" (ZE552KL) a try? Around $500 off-contract, the phone should be alright in performance. I've not used it yet but given the Zenfone 2 ZE551ML (4GB RAM) speed it should be quite fast.
