Looking to move to Taiwan

Hi all,
I’m in a pretty sticky situation and hope this thread is still valid and someone can help me out.
I’m 28 this year and have been managing my own online/Instagram business selling hampers for 6 years now. My business is not registered so I’m not sure if it counts as experience but everything from product, website and marketing is done by me alone. I’m looking to move to Taiwan (specifically hsinchu) and hopefully get a job cause my boyfriend is there and was hoping to stabilise myself (financially) and put less pressure on him. I’ve been looking around for jobs on job websites but to no avail. (Partly also because I’m not sure of my qualifications).
I am Singaporean but I got my bachelors degree in Melbourne, Australia (did college and university, spent 4 years there). I majored in marketing. To be honest I thought I’ll be able to land a job teaching English or something easily but I read from the thread that it’s not possible due to English not being recognised as our native language.

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

The best is start a small business to sustain yourself for 1-2 years. If you have property (HDB) in Singapore you can rent out and used the rental as cashflow for your business in TW.
