Just reach age 35! Need some advise on buying resale HDB from my Parents!

HDB not kum gong.. they wont allow your parents to sell their hse at super below mkt price . U have to buy over at market value price (u agar agar see the valuation so you dont need pay COV)
Owner cannot determine selling price of flat? So are they really the owner …Or just leased only…..

Singles can buy resale flats or condo.
And new 2rm bto.

Everyone know that.
Yes but this arrangement is meant to permit bto application of all sizes whereas single only meant to get 2 room

But got hdb can buy private. got private cannot buy hdb correct me if i am wrong..

i cannot stay with my parents until old because i will outlive the lease remaining..
you can't stay with your parents' in their current flat until old you mean? why cannot stay with them (anywhere) until old?

you can always find housing after your parents' current flat lease expires.

(Provided TS salary can hit the max loan amount)

Old 4rm HDB (parent) = 250k need go back into CPF
New 4rm BTO (parent) = 350k (include levy)

TS buy Old 4rm (parent) = market value 450k (To wipe out TS CPF le then loan remaining from HDB/bank)

Parents received 450k from TS via TS HDB/Bank loan, 350k goes into BTO, parent have cash 100k in bank, use 20k renovation left 80k for buy bitcoins and buy one vietnamese wife for TS.

TS nao own the old 4rm and finance using CPF. Rent extra 2 rooms out to tiongbus and vietneses zeh zeh.

oh wait. if TS can afford 450k market value HDB. Wai not buy his own HDB!!?!!!? :ROFLMAO:

ok la. because his parents BTO HDB 350k if next time sell away ish can earn la after MOP provided they no more buy le then ish 99 years

buy your own hdb flat!!!!

then u and your parent shift to your new hdb flat and your parent can rent out their hdb flat and your parent can retire gracefully!

the lease over i close to 80 years old liao bro.. how to buy house?? only can rent..

might as well buy my own house at 35. But i think about it rent out my parent unit can help to cover medical expenses while staying with me in new bto parent-child scheme

Lol so troublesome! Should just straight away buy one Vietnamese wife and apply new BTO under TS name

He should give it a go and try afew time and if he street smart go and see his MP to UP his chances that what I do if I in his shoes.

when I was in sg when I was around 25 year old I already have enough money in my cpf to buy 3 room HDB flat and whenever I moved to a new rented house or rented room I will go and see that location MP sadly every single time HDB reply me Because I not married and not 35 year old I cannot buy HDB flat.
I no regret at least I tried.

I married at 31 year old that was when I bought my HDB 5room flat

Because if government allow that then will open to loop holes for people to withdraw cpf lor, imagine you pay for your house 500k using cpf fully paid, then you sell me 1k, I under table give you cash 499k no need pay back cpf.. then you only pay back your cpf 1k, the "cash gift" 499k you can keep

How government stop people from using this method to withdraw cpf leh? Lol

Problem ish TS maybe no cash de ma. so must use his parent flats to roll HDB/bank loans to borrow monies as cash. If TS can squeeze 100k from HDB loan as cash is better than loan outsai banks ma. tiagong interest rate lower at HDB.

Dont worry. HDB already cover all kind of loopholes..

we are all still staying in the 4-RM flat. I am just thinking ways to buy a bigger new flat.

If my parent buy BTO, can 5 RM
If I (single) buy BTO, max is 2 RM

so best is they buy and resale to me. LOL
Why need so troublesome? U can form family nuclear with your parents to apply for 5rm bto as second timer.
But u lose out on the grant.

Cos my calculation is if I buy my parents flat, then parents use the money from flat sale fund new bto, likely 2 room bto at mature estate. When they uplorry, will have to sell the bto. Then the money will be given to my sibling, at best I get half. Basically my money, I get back less than half. Now make parents cash rich, they will likely spam on sibling and especially the grandchild. Very worried sibling can’t afford his family. Sure will offer to pay this pay that, buy them this buy them that cos they feel “rich” from flat sales. So yeah. Status quo. Either this or I ownself buy resale.

If no sibling, yeah sure why not. Especially if you hiam resales and prefer first owner flat (BTO). Just ask parents keep trying, $10 nia.

Me not rich bro just that I started working when I was 16 year old and I work very hard so my cpf got enough to pay the downpayment for 3room HDB bro.

I don’t have good education but I work from morning to night most of the time bro
