2024 gst increase to 9%. hawker food prices increase again
2025 gst remain at 9%. hawker food prices also increase again

so prices still gonna increase regardless gst still move up or not.

their justification will be due to war, climate change, inflation, so lesser supply have to increase price. prices increasing at a fast pace is already a norm now, compared to last time in the 90s, 2000s, 2010s.

Every businesses realized that the price increase will be accepted eventually.
Same as the grease from the system.
They know that they can do it and nothing will happen.
They can still do nothing and get their fat salary.
Just throw some pennies from time to time to the noisy residents.
Dun need any long term policies to reduce cost.
