Why did they even call it as "Promotion" when offer lower than 1% interest rate?

i have this .. but take note first 4 years, there is risk of capital loss if (in the unlikely event) insurer fails ... this is unlike SingLife, Dash PET etc where Capital is protected

Is etiqa capital protected and 2.68% guaranteed? If so, actually 6 yo not very long.

based on what oceanicmanta says... first 4 yrs have risk of cap loss in the event that insurer fails, unlikely to happen usually.

nothing is 100% safe in this world.. just do your due diligence and also, it's better than keeping under the pillow. sometimes it's a happy problem. as long as it's tied to the big banks/insurance companies i'll sleep more peaceful at night... :D

so far haven't hear about any bad stuff from Etiqa and they're backed by Maybank.. one of the prominent banks. so i've also put in quite a bit with them (gigantiq, elastiq, easySave, Dash EasyEarn, Dash PET).

and yes i've also dumped into the GE 1.55% for the next 3 years because don't think interest rates will hike over the next 2 years at least... :(
