Both are lousy frame... Pls spend abit more get branded frame... Those cheap frame.. Taobao alot.. Few dollars only..
I bought Prada ones before. A little pointless and waste money I felt.

But ya, the Prada one never broke.

I’m kinda okay with cheap frames these days.

I see that "Made in Korea" was on my older pairs of Owndays. The newer pair I had does not indicate the make. Don't know where's it's from now.

But ah... The frames now also like not cheap now lo. I ended up need to go for the $198 range as well. Plus lens will be $298 liao.
at least 1 in 2 glasses are made in china

I just got back my new pair of spectacles from Lenskart after rejecting the first one. My review is below.

My lenses are progressive light-responsive and the peripheral distortion is greatly reduced compared to my original much more expensive lenses. The quality of the in-house frame and lenses, while not top-notch, is very good for the price ($112).

Service by the staff and service policies are good as well e.g. 1-month return period if spectacles do not fit well. Overall, I'm quite happy with this pair.
Cool...

I use oakley, these days quality drop... the paint peels off after 2yr so go back to agent exchange 1-1 for a new one... a few months back... service ok leh!

Invest on a good pair ( not those $5000 one lah!) can easily survive reservists until ord... Make a cheap one, the china frame is too filmsy... cannot make the cut... maybe ok for first timer on limited budget, or kid who needs to change spec every year.

Good choice. Me bought many pairs.. And some lenses I make locally using eyecon
We actually had the same combo. Me too buy from there and go to eyecon.

One thing I hate from buying online is I cant make simple single vision glasses without a full prescription needing many details on it.

Is there such a thing as scratch resistant lens?
Yes.. But it will still get scratches eventually... I keep zero contact with my lenses but washing my spec with soap and water. Then use blower (photography use one) and blow away the water. ..
