Some folks there have bought it before.
Not bad for a HDMI 2.1 equipped TV.
Make sure you check delivery and warranty terms.

Went Audio House sales and I was comparing this and Samsung 82TU8000.

LG 82UN8100PTB $3699 with $200 choice vouchers and Samsung 82TU8000 $3499

Initially wanted to go for LG cos of IPS screen hard panel and refresh of 100hz.... but after watching for a while... realised the color bit unreal and black is just a patch of black..

Thus went for Samsung.

Received $680 audio house credit to off set future purchase...

Sure you can get an 8k TV, if money is no object and all your sources are UHD material..

In an era that 4k sources are not even considered main stream yet, the best feature of 8k TV is to drive down further the prices of 4k tv😀

ya lo buy antique.
Hi @mybalckboots

Have you bought? Is it still 3699 with 200 voucher?
At this time, I thought the price is good for the given specs.
For 8K, we can always wait till 2-3 years later to change. No need to chase after latest TV reso

I bought LG 82UN8100 yesterday..

I have $850 AH vouchers. But can only redeem $20 for every $100 spent. Is like 20% for next purchase. Who wants buy LG 82UN8100 or other TV? Can PM me to discuss.

I was comparing LG 82UN8100 vs Samsung 82TU8200 given the same size and similar price point.

Specs: LG wins (HDMI 2.1, Dolby Vision and Atmos, IPS)
Design: Samsung wins with thin bezels

After watching a few shows there (making both TVs displaying standard colours), I still think LG is easy on the eyes. Somehow I feel Samsung for this model, images too sharp to look “real”, and make me “headache” after watching it for some time.
