Can someone confirm whether the new 2020 13" MBP in SG uses the UK ISO layout for the keyboard rather than the US layout? If Apple SG only sells the UK layout, then that is a deal breaker for me because I'm not at all used to UK layout.

The website shows UK layout but I remember previous MBPs had the US layout.

Thank you

Should be US keyboard lah, won't have the £ key. But the "buy" section is displaying the UK keyboard. Then the main macbook tech spec is a US keyboard. :s22:

The website picture shows UK style :(

Which website? I went to see Singapore’s Apple store website’s Ieh. In fact when you try to check out, they give you the option of which layout you want to choose including chinese, but the US is still the default.

Apple website: https://www.apple.com/sg/shop/buy-mac/macbook-pro/13-inch-space-grey-2.0ghz-quad-core-processor-with-turbo-boost-up-to-3.8ghz-512gb#

You will see it shows UK layout in the picture. Wonder if it's a mistake. I'll call them tomorrow.

SG Apple website quite weird. Default keyboard layout for MacBooks in Singapore are US layout, Apple store here do not hold stock for UK ISO layout and need to ship from Malaysia.

In fact, if you try to replace a UK MacBook keyboard through Apple they will have to order parts from overseas, which delays repair by a week or more. They only have ready stock of parts for US layout.

Refurb store doesn't specify what layout is used, but 99% likely to be US. If it's anything else, just return and buy again.

The default keyboard layout has always been US layout. Not sure what’s weird about it.

There are people out there who aren't that familiar with such stuff, so cannot assume that they know what's the norm, especially when photos throw them off
