read from the news last year that they are considering opening up registration counters in singapore.

anyone knows if there's any follow up on this?

The last road show for MAC at major shopping centre are over liao.
So now can only do at the MY custom.

It's worth getting it done if you frequent JB.

Use Google Maps. One is the CIQ at Johor Baru, the other is at the second link. It is what it reads to be. Google has a translation tool as well.

park at city square and walk in. towards the segregation point. where if you are taking the bus to Singapore you go right side and those coming from singapore to JB will be on the left side.

go to the left side and there's is a office you need to change pass to get to the MACS office.

if dont know just ask some of the CIQ staffs stationed at the segregation point. they will direct you. just say MACS! haha

How much ? can go to custom apply then can straight away us?

If you taking bus, don't get your chop first. Once you are up the escalator. Look at right and you will see a small office. Just go in and make. After collect back your passport, you can immediate use the MACS.

Thanks. Hopefully they still operate on the weekend, so I can renew mine next month.
