Thought the welcome gift freebie was not applicable to me as I downloaded this app a few weeks back.

Wasted my purchased 300mb package as the free welcome gift data was deducted first; overall still gained 700 Mb.

If really hungry for data then can subscribe their DIGI exclusive plan; 3GB/RM3/day or5Gb/RM5/day. ;) :s13::s13:

This latest offer is for the use of the updated app, so everybody still gets the freebie regardless if you've downloaded it before. ;)

Like what I told a friend, these freebies aren't exactly for visitors like us, as most of us don't use that much data. Same for the 3 and 5GB offers. :s13:

Come April too, those of us who are using dual-SIM phones risk missing the other 2GB if they're not 4G/3G-enabled. =:p

Yes, that right. What I meant was even users like me who've been with them for a couple of years will still get the freebie when I downloaded and used the new app during the promo. :)

Yes, still got Digi. But that's the info from my research last Dec. Haven't look into Digi for sometime, so just post a short info for short trips usage.

When go work in China next week for the next 10 weeks, will try put these info in excel sheet.

IMDA: 2G network services in Singapore will cease on 1st April 2017

Just a reminder...

Those of us dual-SIM phone users who have been keeping our Malaysian (or any other foreign country) SIM card (that allows roaming) in Slot 2, will be affected by the upcoming 2G network shutdown.

IMDA: 2G Network services in Singapore will cease on 1st April 2017

If you have not changed to a 4G/3G-enabled (or soon to be enabled) dual-SIM phone should you want to continue keeping your foreign line on, the article will give you more information on what to expect and do.

For more discussions and recommended replacement phones, you can refer to the Mobile Communication Technology forum.

Thank you for the information.

My phone is a dual sim - 4G / 3G setup. I'm safe. :)

Those with dual sim - 4G / 2G or 3G / 2G will have do get a new 4G / 3G phone fast with 2 more days left to go. Else, you will not be able to communicate with your Thai gf... Kekeke.

DiGi Free 1GB Ready for Redemption

Remember this promo? Free 1GB with New MyDiGi App

Just to share that I've received the SMS today, to redeem the second 1GB within the next 3 days.

Info for those of you who don't roam with your DiGi card. :)

so fast? you redeemed the first one on march 1?

I wasn't going over the other time so didn't bother to redeem. :D

Think the redeemed data is only valid for 7 days.

can someone recommend me a prepaid line to sign up for data?
i will be going to JB every Sunday and so will need a line to keep myself entertained when crossing the causeway.

I see Digi has a 1 day 150MB data plan for 3RM and that is cheap enough for me le, but I am concerned about keeping the number alive.
how often do I need to top up the card to keep the number?

so when I enter JB, I just have to dial a USSD code to activate the 1 day plan? is there a need for me to unsubscribe the 1 day plan when I leave JB?

Thanks everyone

I'm using digi. With each topup, the line is active for 1 week. It can remain inactive for 3 months.

Yes, you'll need to unsubscribe the data plan.

Yes, you'll need to unsubscribe the data plan.

A grace period of 3 months sounds like DiGi Live, 90 days. AFAIK, DiGi Best is 75 days. :)

Validity from a reload is usually RM1 for 1 day. With DiGi Best (no idea about DiGi Live) there's a Super Long Life (they should really rename this, after the removal of 365 and 30-day ones from the latest version) for 1 day which can be used just to reactivate the line in order to reset the grace period. (@blade87, method been shared there by other members not too long ago, so I won't go into it again).

And thanks to the Pokemon craze, DiGi (again, Best, don't know about Live so check their webby if you like) still has the offer for 300MB valid for 1 day @RM1. I subscribe to this from the MyDigi app, and there's no auto-renewal (don't need to unsubscribe).

DiGi Prepaid Plans

Pack (initial) validity for DiGi Best is 30 days, DiGi Live is 7 days.
