Hi, currently planning a trip for around 7 to 10 days in Malaysia.

Would like to include Genting as part of the trip (3-4days) and ideally some other chill places/beaches. (recommendations appreciated)

Unfamiliar with the transport system in Genting. Would it be possible to Genting then chill or would it be easier doing the opposite?

Much thanks.

Genting 3-4 days, then travel east about 3-4 hours to kuantan or cherating beach. Malaysia east side the beach is the best, facing the south china sea. Go up to trengganu or kelantan the beach even better, white sandy beach. West Malaysia the beach so so only, can go melaka. West side is meant more for the good and cheap food.
If not driving do u know how to go to the beach? Are there shuttle bus services?

Cheap and good food sounds good also? Where is it?

If you are not driving, you can visit Penang for good food in Georgetown and at the same time put up at a beach resort in the Batu Ferringhi area. Penang has a good transportation network so you need not worry about getting from place to place.

Oh thank you. Which would you recommend to go from KL?
