I think fans like myself a truly fortunate to have seen a player like Ronaldo join as a young player and blossomed into a world beater... I wonder if Pogba will ever be in the same class as CR7

Pogba already surpassed Ronaldo in a way as in he won the World Cup with France as a key part of their dominant midfield. He is still a tad immature and his best years are coming. Many clubs will try to prise him away from us, and his greedy agent is fueling his departure. I have (great) expectations of him.

Beg to differ, World Cup is a team effort. PaulP is still quite far off what CristianoR was at the same age, in terms of contributing to United. As long as he's donning the jersey, I hope he can become better. But if he goes courting the 2 Spanish giants next summer then it'd be good riddance.

You got to be kidding. Pogba was surrounded by winners around him, who did CR7 have? Pogba still a long way off if you ask me. The tragedy is that we all know he has it in him, but he’s just not doing it consistently enough, and I believe it’s because of his approach to the game.

It appears to me more like complacency - thinking he's already "there".

Frankie de Jong is Yan Dao and imo, his posture, the way he dribbles and his passing reminds me a wee bit of Cantona.

who is he??

A flair player who likes to take defenders on with trickery (he's quite a showboating ball hog)... He also has very good vision and through passing.

But I fear for him if he comes... Can a South American flair player fit into Mourinho's current style?

And how many flair players has the club destroyed since SAF left? Zaha, Di Maria, Depay, Sanchez.... :s22:
