@FabrizioRomano: Inter are going to make the first official bid to Man United for Romelu Lukaku. €10M for 2-years loan, €60M as OBLIGATION to buy clause. It would be €70M paid in three years. Talks ongoing with Manchester United,… https://t.co/q0Ike25LKy

What a joke... if Ed says yes to this, really is joker.

Then next time Utd buy players can do a 3 years loan and then 2 years obligated purchase bo?

We only get 10m right now we want straight cash 💰

Actually no. Even if it's a straight deal for 70million. We will actually receive it in installments over a 5 years period. So actually, this deal shortens the time required to recoup the full fee.

The way I see it, the risk is all on the buyer and not on us. And we get to get rid of Lukaku and buy Ben Yedder(cheaper wages too). Sounds like a win.

Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson says his treatment of Park Ji-sung remains his biggest career regret.

It involved a selection decision for the 2008 Champions League final, which the Old Trafford club won after beating Premier League rivals Chelsea on penalties in Moscow.

"To win the European Cup is fantastic. It was a really great bunch of players with a great attitude about them and a good, strong squad," the legendary boss told MUTV.

"My problem in the 2008 final, maybe I even regret it to this day, was I left Ji-sung Park out completely in the final.

"He'd played such a great role and that's the problem when you get to these finals.

"At Wembley [in 2011] I did it to Dimitar Berbatov and he took it badly. He didn't deserve it. No player deserves to be left out of the final.

"That's why we try hard at these European seminars with the coaches to try to get 11 subs in the final.

"You've got four or five sitting in the stand who made fantastic contributions in getting there."

Might be discussing for 20M up front, 25M over next 2 yrs, total 3 yrs. Which i feel will be better than 10/30/30.

its hardly ever full cash deals.
and during the 2yr loan, i suppose his wages are paid by Inter(i hope not like Nani's case). free up the load on the wage bill

its just a first bid. so still got room for negotiation. United can ask for more cash upfront

Lukaku is good lah. Sell for what? Now that we have James as a proper LW, All we need is a good RW to supply him with crosses. Any idiot except Woodward can see that.

again, the player himself has expressed his desire to leave. so the club should cash out.

no doubt he was 1 of the top scorers but can still fetch at least 70m so why not?
