Man Utd must get rid of Paul Pogba as Scott McTominay and Co prove to Solskjaer they are blueprint for future

Solskjaer needs men who want to play for Manchester United and Pogba does not, as he made clear during the summer.

Pogba certainly would not have lasted a minute in a dressing room with Roy Keane, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville demanding the highest standards week in, week out.

Ex-United boss Mourinho had his number and refused to indulge him.

He realised the French World Cup-winner had his own agenda and was influencing the dressing room, but not in a good way.

Recently, Pogba has been pictured in Dubai and the US as he recovers from an ankle injury — and was even seen playing basketball.

He was unable to play football but able to play basketball. :s13:

Manchester United player Scott McTominay is undroppable claims Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

The 22-year-old has started every Premier League game he has been available for and formed an encouraging partnership with the £52million Fred, who improved with McTominay beside him again.

Solskjaer claimed on the eve of the Tottenham game no United players were 'undroppable' but has made an exception. "You can almost say he (McTominay) is undroppable at the moment. I wasn't gonna try to push him through for this game. The physical presence he gives us, the leadership he gives us in midfield also releases Fred.

"I thought Fred was excellent today and maybe the one chance [Spurs] had he blocked. First class, they are a good partnership.

CITY TEAM NEWS
Pep Guardiola has already stated City’s leading goalscorer Sergio Aguero will miss the game with a thigh injury, while long-term absentees Leroy Sane and Aymeric Laporte (both knee) are out of contention until the new year. Left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko has returned to training after surgery on a knee problem, but it remains to be seen whether he’ll be fit enough to play.

There is some good news for City, as Ilkay Gundogan can once again be selected after serving a one-match suspension during the comfortable midweek win over Burnley.

Chelsea are free to sign players in January after their appeal against a transfer ban imposed by FIFA was reduced by half by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

While the derby will come too soon for Pogba, the midfielder has resumed training and asked when he is expected to return, Solskjaer said: "As soon as possible, as quickly as possible.

"He's out on the grass training. I said in 2019 so hopefully we'll see him before the New Year definitely."

What a surprise, Pogba out again! We must have the worst medical team in the league. cant
estimate a player's return. :D

not say worship but if he had a good game, why can't people give him credits..
and one cant deny last few games he was really bad, whether it's because of Pereira or not

it remains to be seen if he can do it consistently, and that includes the whole team also.

Can. Next game ahead of pereira.

Den cui one game become slammed and not auto in midfield like some suggested:s22:

read an article and realised big teams like bayern, barcelona, madrid. there's no such thing as a transitional period for them due to constant investments every window.

hope we'll get to that realm eventually... just look at bayern, they don't really need to buy a lot of players cause of this. Just the best german player in the league every season.

remembering Mourinho's rant

[Nicolas] Otamendi, Kevin De Bruyne, Fernandinho, [David] Silva, [Raheem] Sterling, [Sergio] Aguero. They are investments from the past, not from the last two years.

saying how much we lack behind in terms of investments until the core of the team is made up of players that are fairly new unlike City. most of the core had since left.

the teams u mentioned may have changed managers but the philosophy of the team are maintained by DoF or sporting director whereas United have been flip flopping their direction at the whim of the CEO
