Yea what is worst is seeing Liverpool winning World Club Cup having such a good season with 3trophies so far. And not once, hearing them saying they are improving or doing this or that is for the future long term investment i guess?

As Olé Gunnar Solskjaer completes his first year as manager of Manchester United, some interesting statistics have emerged from those boffins on Twitter that prove he is doing a good job.

First, a stat from StretfordPaddock shows that when comparing the percentage of games won by Manchester United across all competitions in Olé’s first year as coach with the same figures for Jurgen Klopp’s first year at Liverpool and Mauricio Pochettino’s first year at former club Spurs, Olé comes out on top, with 52.7% compared with 48.2% for both other coaches

It is an interesting comparison because all three managers took on teams needing a rebuild and lacking in confidence. It is a statistic that suggest we have all been a little impatient with ‘the project’.

Im all for criticising the team but seriously, start looking at things in context. methods last 6 years have failed badly and miserably. we might as well try something else.

You do know that all these statistics actually don't mean anything?

None of these stats are a fulfilling criteria for future success. Furthermore, while Klopp and Pochettino took on teams that were in a decay for most part, Ole took over from a squad that finished second previously, albeit a masterstroke from Jose Mourinho.

I personally don't believe the project with OGS will amount to anything except to delay us from a proper we rebuild that we need to do, the kind that Pep did at Man City except Woodward thinks he understands football better than any manager.

if ole want to do good then should let players like williams, gardner and greenwood into starting lineup more often with shaw, andreas and young on bench instead.

i also don't think the current project will do much for utd. after 2 or 3 seasons we have to find new manager and rebuild again.

It was a relief that United did not stick with the moist one. Cant imagine if United like now decided to believe in his "rebuilding". 7mths he actually did so much damage that it took long to improve.

Now everyone is buying into Ole fairytale. Lets hope it comes good lo, but so far all seems to point to the moist one disaster all over again.

now keep saying the squad is young so inconsistency is expected but if we take a look at all the so-called young players in match day first team. ya they are not 28-32yo but they have already played in the league/in first team for couple of years, cant keep giving excuses that they can be allowed to be inconsistent.
if half the squad was just promoted from the academy, fine i will let them have that.
