Lack of movement in the final third. Both Rashford and Martial like to take the ball and attack defenders (inside forward) i.e. effective on the left. That's why our midfield is always passing sideways for them to attack. Our CAM (Lingard) sucks too. Nobody is finding pockets of space like Thierry Henry or RVP.

Rashford and Martial both don't attack or occupy the defenders when they don't have the ball. Strikers should keep irritating the defenders with subtle movements, like Benzema, Lacazette, Rvp or Chicharito. Even Robot Crouch does that. If Modric, Cesc, Figo, Xavi or superman, also see no proper opportunity to pass.

was he intended to waltz in to the first team when they first bought him?

if he was to be slowly introduced, who was the supposed first team option and where is that guy now?
if he was intended to be first team from the get go, they didn't consider a 21yo kid burning out in his first season of top flight football?

not no choice. but it was a collective decision made by management.

Like this mean... no choice lor.

the club went thru that route though, when they decided to appoint Mourinho.

they just didn't follow through long enough.

so ultimately, it really depends on how long before the management change their minds.

Totally agreed on this.
This can lead to the defenders losing possessions

"We're halfway through this season and we knew this season was going to be a season of some ups and downs," Solskjaer said. "This season will be used to find a team and a squad for next season, but hopefully we can speed this process up by getting more results.

"But at the moment we're a little bit further behind than what I was hoping for, yeah."

We just need Ole to say 'next season is our season' to complete the joke.

Manchester United have put Nemanja Matic and Marcos Rojo up for sale.

The Mirror says both have been told they can leave United next month when the transfer window opens.

Midfielder Matic and defender Rojo are not part of United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's long-term plans and can go if they find the right club.

Matic has become a squad player, following the emergence of Scott McTominay and Fred as Solskjaer's first-choice central midfield pairing.

Two Premier League clubs have expressed interest in signing Matic, while Rojo - a target for a Everton last season - is wanted by several clubs abroad.
