My thought exactly. I remembered Ole ever kicked a player near the centre circle, causing him to fall when he's already clean through.

Should just take a red.

Why take the red card for suspension, it was last min. Already losing 1-0 doesn't have diff with 2-0, unless it was 0-0 or 1-1.

not the first time where the team leading against United are the ones first to make tactical changes.
im not tactical expert, but im not sure what the manager sees in the team for more than 60mins to suggest we don't need a switch of players asap. sometimes drag till 70th 80th min.

of cos can argue that, we don't have quality on the bench. but that's not what the managers says about his players week in week out. so what is it really?

The first evidence that Ole is totally out of his depth is that he has continued to display his non-growth as a manager with his limited tactical ability in having only Plan A. Every opposing team knows exactly how we will play. De Bruyne's comment that it only took City 15 mins to prepare for the match against us says a lot about how easy Ole is being read by oppositions... it was clear that Klopp also knew very well what to do against us. See how Mane attacks Lindelof and exposed him time after time, while their defence and midfield pressed up high but man marked our only two attacking threats Martial and James. Also, Ole's team selection also super facepalm... he only humji team no pace, but he not humji our team no quality... Even we in this thread before the match can anticipate that he will drop in-form Mata for AP15 or Lingard. He is so predictable.

The second is tactical failure. WTF is with the use of zonal marking at defending corners and set pieces... our shortest players are marking the opposing team's main tall threats in the box, while our taller CDs are standing closer to our own GK marking nothing??? Last night VVD's goal from the corner is not the first time it has resulted in a goal for the opposing team... Lindelof's own goal from a corner against Everton was also a result of this zonal defence employed by Ole. Why the stubborness? Why insist on zonal and not man-to-man mark at set pieces and corners when opposition has clear aerial threats?

Another evidence that the role is too big for him is his inability to grasp what's happening in the match in front of him and react with timely conviction. As a super-sub himself, he sure doesn't know when subs are required (or not required in Rashford's case). For it to take so long for Mata to be subbed on last night shows Ole's situational inaptness when it matters.

The nostalgic part of me was knowing he was learning his job and wanting to give him chance to him to prove himself up to the task... however it is clear that match after match after a year in the job there's not only no improvement, but Ole's predictability at employing tactics and team selections have made the club move backwards.. making it easy for opponents to take points off us.

I say: Enough is enough.

As expected usual positive response from Ole saying we showed some fight in the second half so losing 2-0 score line to your bitter rivals is no big deal.

He just refuse to blame the players for their poor performance especially the 2 CBs. Lindelof has been especially poor this season, Maguire look nothing like an 80m defender and the fact that VVD scored against him makes it even worst.

Ole has to stop spoiling the players.

Everyone asking for Ole's head. So what happens if a world class manager comes in and the same problem happens? Can't get transfer targets. Forced to use existing players. Made to extend contracts. The list goes on. The problem is not just Ole. Sure he may be out of his depth. But the biggest problem is exactly what everyone outside the club has been saying. Upper management has got to ****ing go.
