Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has approached Liverpool to make them aware he could be signed this summer.

Quick send Pogba to Liverpool.. it is a good way to slow their game down.. :)

Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan thinks the Red Devils would be wise to offload Pogba, insisting he’s failed to live up to expectations.

"Disaster? Disruptive. I don't think it's a disaster because I don't think he's been an unmitigated success,” he said.

"Is he a very good player? Would he fit into a team that enables him to play in a certain way, which Manchester United probably hasn't done in the same way Juventus has done? Yes.

“Are Manchester United going to facilitate that for him? Probably not.

"Economically, he's in the last year of his contract so you're already in a situation where you're not going to get anywhere near back what you paid for him. If you're not getting back what you paid for him, what's it cost them?

"If he's been there for four or five years then he's probably been on their balance sheet for about £15m so they're not going to lose money on Pogba.

"The fact that he's talking to PSG is no different to him [Raiola] trawling around with Erling Haaland seeing what, when, how, if, and or but.

"There is an argument to suggest that is in fact good form on behalf of his client because that's what he should be doing as an agent.

"While they [Man United] are the sum of all their parts, they are far bigger and far more important than Paul Pogba. He hasn't changed the direction of travel in the time that he's been there. He hasn't made Manchester United, on his own, a singularly better football club. It's not a disaster, it's just disruptive.

"If you're going to have Pogba in the dressing room, half in half out doing the hokey cokey or whatever he does when he feels like it, the best is probably to remove him."

This will affect the start of the season because the players affected can't play for few weeks. Look at what happened to Pogba last season after he was infected. Took him almost 1 month before he can start to play.

Now Varane is set to join in a big-money move, some fans hope it could see Pogba reconsider his long-term future as the pair have formed a positive relationship having played with each other in the French national team.

Coincidentally, the duo actually made their international debuts in the same game, a World Cup qualifying win over Georgia in 2013, and have gone onto make a similar amount of appearances for their country; Pogba 84 and Varane 79.

Pogba, who is good friends with his compatriot, has spoken about Varane in the past and one comment particularly stood out, which could indicate where the midfielder’s future may lie.

“When you say he is a teammate, he a true teammate,” Pogba said. “We progress together.”

Therefore, the centre-back's arrival could tempt Pogba to remain and the Red Devils may use that as a secret weapon to ensure that he signs a new deal with the club.

Varane is probably the only player who can convince Pogba to stay.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes his Manchester United side need to get off to the best possible start when the Premier League returns in order to achieve success.

It may seem like an obvious point to make, but United have started slowly in each of the Norwegian's two full seasons in charge. In 2019/20 they only won three of their first ten league games, while last season saw them win just twice in the first six games, a run that included the 6-1 home defeat to Tottenham.

Very important to start the season strongly.

And United may yet sign Trippier before the transfer window slams shut, with an agreement already in place when it comes to Solskjaer, Murtough and Fletcher.

They all believe the England international has what it takes to shine at Old Trafford, rating his experience and attacking prowess as well as his professionalism.

In the eyes of all three United figures, Trippier can also help galvanise Aaron Wan-Bissaka - just like Alex Telles did to Luke Shaw after touching down from Porto a year ago.

And make no mistake about it, that’s a positive sign. That agreement is in stark contrast to previous years, when the club have been split on who to go for.

It will be easier to get Trippier if he had not signed the contract extension until 2023 with Atl Madrid.

Phil Jones was responsible for blocking Raphael Varane's transfer to Manchester United in 2011.

Varane's impressive emergence over a decade ago at French side Lens didn't go unnoticed to Sir Alex Ferguson, who duly made the then 18-year-old centre-back one of United's transfer targets as he carefully plotted his path to another Premier League title.

However, when Ferguson acted swiftly in the transfer market to sign a highly regarded, young Phil Jones from Blackburn for £16m, Varane's potential move to Old Trafford was thrown in doubt - the Frenchman then joined Real Madrid for around £8.5m.

While Jones' career at United eventually stuttered, Varane would go on to enjoy unrivalled success at Madrid and, although the Reds finally have their man after Ferguson had identified him as a target, he's explained Jones inadvertently once blocked his move.

In 2011 Phi Jones joined Man Utd for £16m. In 2011 Varane joined Real Madrid for £8.5m. During 2011 to 2021 there is a very big difference between these 2 players.

To be frank, pool can't afford Pogba's expecting salary, simply as that.. But just a trick by his agent to link pool to him. I can't really see why they would be interested or how he can improve their game, but i sure know he can slow them down from their usual quick movement style of play.. Imagine Klopp want Pogba to run and closed down players like Wijnaldum, Fabinho, henderson, mane or even milner.. It will be a joke to watch. Already they have one Thiago and it slow them a lot, another lazy midfielder.. man, that's it for them.
