It’s claimed that, when Garnacho was forced out of the fixture at Old Trafford, it was not assured he would play again this season.

Garnacho had tried to stay on but doctors were worried that his campaign would be over prematurely, in what would have been a major blow.

Yet physios were ‘delighted’ with the teenager’s application.

It’s said the United star ‘worked as hard as possible to return’, putting in the work to ensure he’d be back on the pitch less than two months later.

Garnacho apparently went into Carrington on his days off, channeling Cristiano Ronaldo - his old team-mate whose workaholic attitude is well known - while also completing ‘monotonous hill walks at the back of the training ground’.

The winger also worked hard in the gym, something that ‘pleasantly surprised coaches’.

Garnancho is capable of producing a winning performance in the FA Cup. Last yr he produced a winning performance in the youth FA Cup.

Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old is into the final year of his contract with the Blues and he is ready to move on this summer.

Manchester City have been mentioned as potential suitors for the Croatian international and Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t SportWitness) claims that Manchester United have now joined the race as well.

Manchester United are in the front row to sign Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund this summer, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

Compared to the likes of Kane and Victor Osimhen, Hojlund is just in the development stage of his career but he has plenty of potential.

This season, he has registered 15 goals and seven assists in all competitions. Out of those, nine goals and four assists have come in the Atalanta shirt.

The 20-year-old is still learning his trade but has been likened to Erling Haaland as he is left-footed, possesses brilliant pace and a physical presence.

In today’s transfer market, €50m is a fairly reasonable price for a starlet. United would ideally like to lower the fee to €35m but Atalanta may refuse to negotiate.

It will be the same style as signing Amad Diallo.

In the 1977 and 1985 FA Cup Final…

MU was facing 2 teams that were supposed to steam rolled over them…
cos both teams had just won the league title.. and had whacked MU during the regular season.

those 2 teams went on win their respective European competition after the FA Cup Final.

3rd time lucky for MU ?

it will depend on if they want to turn up and perform,.

All six of the Glazers could end up staying at Manchester United even if Sir Jim Ratcliffe completes a takeover of the club. And, ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final showdown with Manchester City, that’s certainly agonising news for their supporters. Fans of the Red Devils have long wanted to see the back of the family - but it appears they’re now looking increasingly likely to stay instead.

It had previously been said that Ratcliffe would, should his bid succeed, be prepared to let Avram and Joel remain at the club in reduced roles.

Now, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Instead, the INEOS chief and self-proclaimed United fan is willing to let all six siblings stay before buying their shares further down the line.

The Glazers are said to be ‘focused’ on this idea, in catastrophic news for many associated with the club.

Ratcliffe would use loans to secure United. Sound familiar? Instead of the debt-free offer of Sheikh Jassim, this would potentially plunge the club into even murkier waters.

Fan will be taken for a ride if this happens.
