Aiyo, stock market up down 人之常情。That's why can only put in Spare Money which you can leave in there to rot. That's the only way to outshine the stock market. I also lose a lot to learn this lesson. Only choose those with steady foundation. The chance for those to recover is higher.

how would you know if it's at the lowest tho? i split my funds into 7 tranches to buy on 7 random days this month before payout. bought the first one earlier today

I am a strong believer of mmf (saveplus). U may want to re-evaluate your mmf ut as of why they still at loss when COVID is over for years. If the management fee and fund fees r eating up your capital, u better exit quickly.

I don't mean all mmf r good or all fixed income funds r bad. But if a fund not doing well for a long time with no good reason, I will think that it is a bad investment. And bad investment should be stopped. I also compare diff investment platforms because they will affect the yield too.

True la, but just like stock market. Traders tend to average down in hope of recovery. But got to look into the fundamentals. Like you said, if it is due to high mgt / fund fees, then got to do something such as switch to lower fee or no fee platform.
