I own both. First take - in summary both has their pros and cons. HD6XX is more lush, richer (and has that Sennheiser veil), where HD58X is more dynamic, but slightly more flat. Both similar in terms of soundstage. Depends on what genre you listen often. But in terms of VFM, I say HD58X is more VFM vs HD6XX.

HD58X is definitely miles ahead of HD598 (which I used to own). HD598 was too thin for me.

Think you just need an existing Massdrop member to link you in. I was shoved such a link at after my checkout, not sure if it can still be done now. :s22:

it doesn't work i plan to buy $60 cable but nothing discount at checkout

Hmm ... went back to have a look an it reads:

Give $10, Get $10
Introduce a friend to Massdrop. They'll get $10 when they sign up, and you'll get $10 credit once they complete their first drop.

Only for new Massdrop members.

Think the critical word is NEW member who sign up with the link ???
I personally haven't tried, so perhaps you can try signing up a new account ? :s11:

But I'm surprised that the shipping cost that much from Massdrop for the AKG. My HE4XX cost US$15/- in shipping.

But SG$20/- is a pretty good price for self-collect, I would have chosen that if I were in your situation.

I have a neighbourhood collection point for EzBuy, which just happens to be my block carpark !! :s13::D

Hey man, I just bought my pair off massdrop and am using ezbuy to ship it over to singapore. Just asking what did u put for the courier option as i cant find what massdrop used for it...
