I dunno why ppl like to take such pictures and complain. They don't buy from online platform meh? It's less of a sorting station but more of the delivery guy can't bring everything up at once what.

looks like a dumping ground to me

that us why all our parcels got hole or dented etc

coz they just anyhow throw your parcels all around
If it's damaged it's probably during shipping. The last mile rarely damages the parcel. Ur stuff are more violently thrown around during sorting and cargo transit. Just that you don't see it

They used to do sorting at my condo's carpark. After a while, probably got chased away by security, don't see them anymore.

Quite common what.. My neighborhood block also like this, just of a smaller scale. Better dun kpkb, later knee jerk garment clamp down and result in everyone having to pay for higher delivery charges :(

Massive pile of unattended deliveries spotted in S’pore void deck, includes microwave & monitor

Microwave & monitor left among unattended deliveries in void deck

In the picture, boxes of varying sizes and brands are seen piled haphazardly on the floor and across the void deck, with some stacked unevenly.

Amid the mess, two items stood out — a microwave and a monitor, both left fully exposed.

The original poster (OP) remarked that it was “crazy” to see the boxes “just thrown around without care”, adding that they had no idea who to blame for the state of the deliveries.

Erm, think these are the don't know how many hands sub-con bah. They one day have to handle thousands of parcels. Cannot really expect much of them when the external environment is crude. Many pay so cheap for their delivery. Want better protection think have to pay more bah.

Erm, think its really a sorting station. Albeit a secondary one maybe.

These think are the sub-con. Don't think the source will be that comprehensive to sort out down to the block and unit. Too tedious. Unless they are those specialise service.

But think these are the general run of the mill type. Which think is just sort by area at the source, then pass out to sub-con to bring to that area for further sorting into block and unit by the sub-con downstream.

Thus can see such a common scene in many places where the parcels are spread out in open area further lump into small groups, for individual door to door delivery.

Imo they unload everything there then deliver floor by floor. This is usually free delivery or afew dollars and they earn 50c or something per parcel.

If you want the guy to hand carry to your house then pay for dhl fedex
