For foam mattresses... what is the minimum thickness it should have? I googled it and they said 6 inches but I see alot of 4 inches and 5 inches ones being sold as well... even Sleepy Night has foam mattresses (non-foldable kind) as thin as 4 and 5 inches...

I'm confused over different types of foam. Seahorse is quite hard, but Tempur is memory type soft.

I think latex is a kind of foam that is quite good for mattresses and is more expensive that normal foam/sponge mattresses...

searching for mattress reviews and chanced on this thread

Went furniture shopping in JB and they carried some brands mattresses too, 3 different shop staff shared the same thing. If its foreign aka European/US brands, better to get from SG as the price difference now is only a few hundred SGD. If any issue, then you need MY side to schedule a day to go down, plus it may have extra cost cause of the travelling time spend etc

Where can I find good deals for mattresses in Singapore store during black Friday? I am looking looking at Simmons, Dealy or Derucci.

Despite 100% latex beds being marketed as lasting 15 years. I'm being told by sales ppl that latex beds harden or crumble at around 5 year mark. This apples to Getha, Heveya beds.

Any pure latex beds users have experiences to share? Thank you.
