Is your PC behind the switch or behind the router??? Also is the subnet configured correctly???

Subnet the same. Set to 255.255.255.0.
Pc connected to the switch or router also not able to access.
Not sure why when I assigned a static IP address to the pc then can access.
Changed to dhcp it failed.

If your PC able to attain an ip address when you use DHCP??? It sounds stupid, but you might want to check if you did disable DHCP server on the router. Its the only solution I can think of now lol...

Hi Jk,

I updated the firmware and followed your instructions. The slowness/lag when gaming on iphone 6s using 5Ghz is gone. Its faster and smoother now. Think problem solved.

Thank you for the help. :)

Hi, i would like to give some feedback for the new firmware.

After using for few days, i notice the long loading/delay using iphone 6s(havent tried other devices, dont know if this problem is iphone only or not) on 5ghz will come back after using the router for some time. A reboot seems to fix the problem. But the problem will come back after some time and another reboot is needed. Using 2.4 ghz is still more smoother than 5ghz.

thanks!

Try turning off the beamforming and give it another shot. I noticed my 5GHz download speed would dropped by 2/3 if the beamforming is ON. Using iPhone 6 Plus & iPad Pro.

Facing the same issue as Redsuns. On the contrary, we were told to turn beamforming on.

What is your top speed and the degraded speed? On my Samsung note 4, speedtest download/upload speed to my isp is 340Mbps/380Mbps (slower download than upload), with or without beamforming on.

It's not so much of top speed being affected, but the high ping and packet loss experienced on my phone. I did 100 pings to my phone on the local network from my computer and there were 2 packet losses, highest ping was 1000+ ms and average was about 500ms.

290 pings, lost 3 packets, min 2ms, max 838ms, average 342ms.

My computer and note4 are connected to the same ac66u which acts as a local switch, connected to the ac87u router. (i am not using ac87u wifi, only the ac66u 5ghz wifi)

This is my ping result from my Ubuntu server to note 4. (Note 4 on table, stale location)

106 packets transmitted, 106 received, 0% packet loss, time 105185ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 3.853/28.088/90.976/10.219 ms

And this is from Ubuntu server to oppo find 7. ( on my hand and walking around the house)
108 packets transmitted, 107 received, 0% packet loss, time 107183ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 1.419/235.091/2367.948/423.706 ms, pipe 3

Previously, jumbo frames 9K were on, ping from computer to stationary Note4. I retested with jumbo frames OFF:
0%loss, 100sent, 100 received, min 1ms, max 693ms, average 227ms.

Then I realised, I forgot to put them on the same router, and rebooted my phone:
100pings 0 packet loss, Min 3ms, Max 699ms, Average 101ms.
