Hi all,

It is earnings season, so be sure to monitor the reports of your holdings. I have sold PEC as their later quarter is not that great. Still made ~15% off of it over the past few months so it was a good holding overall.

Best of luck.

Hi all,

The following is the result of a stock screen for May. Many of the stock prices would have fallen in may, simply because they gave out dividends, so there is no need to be alarmed. Hock Lian Seng just gave out 20% dividends, so don't be surprised by the rather steep drop in price.

For the overall portfolio for may, if you just bought all the screened stocks mentioned, the performance was essentially flat over the month, just like STI. Key performers are stocks like PNE and Sunsine, which both gained ~10% MoM. If you kept track of my previous post, PEC did not annouce good earnings in their latest quarterly results, so I sold it and made a healthy 15% off of it since I did the February screen. OKP, despite announcing stellar earnings growth, remained mostly stagnant. I am not sure if this meant the growth was fully priced in, or the value is waiting to unlock.

Also, this is the first full quarter since I started the monthly stock screen. Here is an overview of my performance thus far according to SGX cafe:

P&L + Closed + Dividends: (+9.76%)
Time Weighted Returns: 31.28%
Time Weighted Returns of SPDR STI ETF (ES3): 5.84%

Bobby got add more sun?

No. Unfortunately, I use the standard FA strategy of equal weighted stocks for my portfolio. I just substitute stocks once they drop out of the list. I don't really know how to trade, so not as satki as you lol.
