do you have the guide to install multiview?
I posted this as a question, and gibson7 bro helped me with confirmation that it works.
This was my question in
simple form:
1. make a backup of the res file and store it "somewhere"
2. create the zip at modaco with the apps I want, and copy it (the zip) to SD card
3. boot into recovery, and flash with the zip from SD card
4. reboot and test
Here's the expanded version in case you need more details:
1. make a backup of framework-res.apk (found in /system/framework) and store it somewhere safe (copy to your computer/PC - I use Mac)
2. Go to
Modaco site and create a zip file with the custom apps you want to be available in the Multiview Window:
- it begins with a template
put.packagename.here

- just replace it with the app you want. ie. for whatsapp, it will be
-
com.whatsapp

- To find the info for the app you need, just go to google playstore and grab it from the address bar
- If you need to add another app, just place it in a new line
- Once you're done, just create the zip from the site, download it and copy it to your SD card
3. Boot into CWM Recovery mode (Turn off Phone, press vol up + Home + Power) and flash with the zip file from your SD card
4. Reboot and Enjoy (test)
Note:
- Your Note 2 needs to be rooted and flashed with CWM
- At the Moment, you have only a choice of LJ1 or LJ3 framework file to create / download (although it works fine for us on LJ5 - I picked LJ3's framework to download)
- Do not put in too many apps - I think there is a reason why THEY only includes certain apps and not every apps available in Play Store - (for compatibility issues??)
- Don't spend too much time arranging the icons in the sidebar to your liking - coz at the moment, upon reboot, the appearance sequence will be randomised
- Usual disclaimer applies - Backup First - do at your own risk - (But in case you face any issues, the mates here will be more than willing to lend you a hand
Have Fun!!
