new BTO lighting help

Is it true that the new BTO now does not need to have those electrical trunking cables.. Im planning to install a few downlights, do i still have to install the false ceiling to do that or i can install them direct to my new BTO ceiling. Planning to install 4 downlights at various locations

What you see on the ceiling of the pic above is the electrical points for the ceiling lights(normally 2 points)..If you need a few points, then u need to get a electrician to run them..The false ceiling if u wan serves as a concealment for the trunking which you are going to do..

so if i need a few points on the ceiling sure must run trunking or is concealed? some of my friends told me no more trunking cables for new BTO all is concealed.

and they say, this is also the same for those light switches and electrical points.. all can be concealed.. is that true?

Those points are comes with the house is concealed..Additional points which you need at another spot other than the default 2 ceiling point would need to wire out & trunk.

Switches no issue when put beside existing switch.

Besides lighting pt, does the bto comes with light switches?

If yes, I can just buy a light from taobao and install myself?

If u don't need additional switches.
