Hope u will receive gd news soon!nope
sure! all the best ya!Hope u will receive gd news soon!lets update each other once we received any emails hehe
Truly appreciate this reply! It helped.Hi there,
Although most schools stop practicing this as extra 6 months to a year more of untrained contract stint could delay your promotion in the later years when you start your actual teaching stint. However, at your end, it is likely not possible to change this practice at your school if your school leaders believe in this practice. Let's have a growth mindset, I would say that take this chance to experience a full year in school to see if you are able to handle the responsibilities as a teacher while clocking experiences that would helpful when you become a actual teacher. In the some cases, I do know of people who quit after the six month stint as they realized that teaching in main stream school is not for them.
Hey chrispy, have you heard back?Omg congrats!!! Still waiting for minenot sure why it’s taking so long aha
hi friend!!!! you don’t know how relieved i am to hear someone else having the same combo as me :') unfortunately, i haven’t heard anything since my processing email in MarchHey chrispy, have you heard back?I'm also PGDE Sec Eng Lit.
Hi there! Same here.. Did you receive any processing email?Hi there... did my interview on 18 March and submitted Annex A2 form some time in mid-April. Been waiting for my medical checkup for so long hahaha. Going nuts lol. Anyone else in a similar predicament? I am from the Jan - Feb 2022 window btw.
same here! and I've got no news after thatHi Snowies. Yes I got one processing email during April. Just one though lol.
yeah I hope so tooLol same! I also emailed them 2 weeks ago to seek updates. I guess they are overwhelmed....? But at the same time I hope HR empathizes with our anxiety lol. So glad I accepted another offer in Jan instead of sitting around like an anxious duck for so many months.
Was in NIE last year. Most of my lessons were f2f unless there are heighted alert.Hi there,
Is anyone currently undergoing PDGE in NIE right now? Are lessons in-person in NIE or are they online?
Can anybody share more about the weekly timetable for PGDE?
Thanks!
Hi Snowies and Chrispy, I have an update. HR replied me and said that they had reviewed my application and my earliest Assumption of Duty date has been pushed back to 19 Dec 2022.yeah I hope so tooI had this urge to email again haha. but afraid it will seem too desperate but the wait is really long. In the past, by now many would already have second processing email
oh no you emailed them again? or they replied your only email? at least they replied you! I'm left hanging now.. I think it's because the previous batches also experienced a delay. so ours were pushed back.Hi Snowies and Chrispy, I have an update. HR replied me and said that they had reviewed my application and my earliest Assumption of Duty date has been pushed back to 19 Dec 2022.
Imagine if I did not email them... Wonder if I would have been left hanging for another 6 months hahaha.
Anyway I am rather disappointed because the window I applied for (Jan - Feb) clearly stated that the AOD is in July 2022 (for Untrained) and Dec 2022 (for NIE). Now that my AOD is pushed back to Dec 2022, this implies that my Untrained stint will be 1 year long and I can only enrol in NIE in Dec 2023.
I have no idea what to feel anymore.![]()
yeah I decided to again but not sure if I appear very desperate haha. but it's been almost 20 days.. how long they took to reply you? Now I'm envious of you! At least you had a replyThey replied my only email! I think you should resurface your email, you deserve to get a response!
Oh dang! When I emailed them at the end of April they said that they were still processing and that the process doesn’t occur simultaneously.Hi Snowies and Chrispy, I have an update.
