https://wccftech.com/president-trum...g-100-tariff-on-all-chips-coming-into-the-us/

Always wonder why the other countries won't just hit back at US.

(1) The tariffs are paid largely by the American consumer. (Manufacturers might choose to absorb some of the tariffs to maintain market share but the tariffs are too large/chaotic for them to absorb all/most of it.)

(2) Retaliatory tariffs will cause Trump to whack more tariffs. The escalating retaliation will effectively result in cutting off trade. See China vs USA before the current pause. Most countries lack the economic muscle to engage in a trade war.

(3) A coordinated response globally to impose retaliatory tariffs will collapse the US economy by effectively cutting off the global supply chain. This is something nobody wants. Like it or not, when the US sneezes, the world catches a cold.

As it is, the US is already heading towards economic disaster. Jobs down, tourism crashed, export markets lost, USD down, humongous budget deficit, eye-watering debt .... the list goes on.

Got in BF6 early access, wah this is first game that uses all 16 cores, ~100w PPT. Most games will see CCD1 idle and PPT around 70w.

3440x1440 DLSS quality ultra settings GPU only 260w average....very efficient engine :o

Interesting the clockspeeds are rather spread out for you. On 285K it doesn't use any of the E-cores only P cores, don't mind the current clocks, I only took screenshot after I exit the game so just look at the max clocks.

I was told this game is also AVX2 so its very power hungry.

interestingly what would be the 1080p at low setting for CPU test score like?

DICE like never optimise enough for ARL. I retested again conquest-breakthrough, this time, only screenshot Hwinfo after i exit game instead of constantly tab-to see.

Can confirm is cpu threads are well spread

I think no diff, i am cpu limited, gpu even for ultra-DLSS quality, is only 50-60% utilisation. BF6 is not using latest 3D features. :o

from your data you disable the HT core?

seems my 9800x3D use more power than your core

interesting both of you guys effective clocks fall quite abit lower than max clocks, where as for me I run 5.6GHz all cores for P core, with AVX2 offset I think it reduces frequency by 200MHz so I still get 5.4GHz
yeah even from Steam overlay you can see not all core was at peak all time (red box section)

Did you have power savings c-states turn off?

I think ryzen will never hit sustained max effective clocks as their SMU is very aggressive to boost up and down
thats why Intel cpu still win in certain games, as they run higher clocks sustained

This is another bf6 game wiith normal and effective clocks after i exit. eff clocks is just the average of boost clocks.

Ryzen wise, should be on.
I leave it on, also turn on vbs secure boot, basically all modern processor features are on.
