how much TP ?I’ll certainly buy more when prices drop to attractive valuations.
Nice. They did pretty damn well last year.As long as LUNR and RKLB untouched I'm ok
Haven’t work out. Need some careful analysis.how much TP ?
Same here.My portfolio everyday is up or down 5 digits, no feeling.
Nothing is free, chiu are the data that they are collectingOne of the most important reason why Deepseek is so successful is basically just one simple reason. It is very accessible and free to use with no limit (not that I experience the limit) which include its advanced model (Deepthink, which is incredible which imitates how human, or it therefore, will think to achieve good answer), and one can integrate using its API a way cheaper cost than established offerings. It is just another Chat system that ready to use, no need to configure with messy configuration. This creates a very good branding.
Honestly I didn't care how advance it is or is it open-source as long as it is free to use and good enough for own use. Everyone can use Deepseek, no need to register using China verification system like most China-made Chatbots (eg baidu). I will have ignored Deepseek has it not been so accessible and generous.
Why panic sell and realize the loss? It's not like Nvidia will fold next week. Soon, it'd just be an aberrant blip in your stock valuation.
open source means others can just copy, build on it and make money without paying DeepSeek?"Deepseek R1 is one of the most amazing and impressive breakthroughs I've ever seen," said Marc Andreessen, the Silicon Valley venture capitalist who has been advising President Trump, in an X post on Friday."
"DeepSeek said training one of its latest models cost $5.6 million, compared with the $100 million to $1 billion range cited last year by Dario Amodei, chief executive of the AI developer Anthropic, as the cost of building a model."
"Barrett Woodside, co-founder of the San Francisco AI hardware company Positron, said he and his colleagues have been abuzz about DeepSeek. "It's very cool," said Woodside, pointing to DeepSeek's open-source models in which the software code behind the AI model is made available free."
"Anthony Poo, co-founder of a Silicon Valley-based startup using generative AI to predict financial returns, said his company moved to DeepSeek from Anthropic's Claude model in September. Tests showed DeepSeek performed similarly for around one-fourth of the cost."
I think faster sell your nvda before the crash from red to abyss
precisely, most ppl don’t see this. The cost saving quantum to achieve on par performance with OpenAI is what would destroy OpenAi
if the biggies try to match Deepseek’s pricing, they will be digging a even bigger hole cos as it is now, they are operating at a loss
All the retail fomos just a little dip they bought upIsn't this drop long overdue? Biden's chip restrictions should have hammered NVDA bottomline jialat jialat in the foreseeable future, but the market refused to budge. This is just a delayed reaction Nia...
The one that first try no error is ChatGPT, because you not using it, therefore no errors.i used gemini advanced preview-exp-1206 and 1.5pro (paid) and deepseek to code a simple html calendar.
guess which AI did it at first try with no errors? the other one failed badly, and need 5 more prompts to get it right.
