If I'm reading the current interest tables correctly, for someone who only credits salary (say $3k) and spend on CC (say $500):
  • DBS/POSB is giving 1.5% for the first $50k and 0.05% for subsequent amounts above $50k deposited.
  • OCBC gives 3.25% for the first $75k and an even higher 6.45% for the next $25k.
Am I reading it right? Seems like a huge disparity and OCBC's interest is too good to be true. Did I missed something?

normally u can compare to FD's rates from the 3 local banks. if they are around the same then its not too good to be true and normal

u should compare dbs multipler transaction in 3 categories instead as dbs multiplier 3x category is much easier to hit compared to ocbc and thats the game they play
