Would be good if HSA release a graph of how many people get awards in each category ? And by age. By gender. By number of years they've used to achieve the award.
It would be interesting to find out.

i think at the end of the year, they will publish the figures. I remember seeing it.

Just donated today 3rd times not as much as others. But I really feel good after donating will consider doing it every 6 months. Is 42 too old to start?

Went down to Singapore Expo this morning to collect my Bronze Medallion, a reward for donating blood 25 times this life. I have always believed in blood donation, because I tell myself that it's either I volunteer to give away my blood, or my karmic debtors are going to come after me for their share of my blood. Took the opportunity to donate blood once more, I didn't participate in the World Blood Day carnival which was organised by Singapore Red Cross this afternoon, but it was a nice experience going down to Expo being part of the occasion.

Yup. My next donation, next month onwards i can receive 200 points every months. Very good initative moving forward

Hmm... does HSA read this forum ? I suggested this on Apr 28 !

200 points = $1.30/- for Simplygo or $2.60/- for Medishield

Health365 points for each donation which can go to subsidise Medishield payments or transport.

While I don't think HSA should pay for your time (after all it's voluntary work), I think HSA should pay for your public transport to and from the donation centre. Health 365 point would cater for that.

But of course, it's better value to pay for Medishield.

Need to sign an extra form to allow them (HSA/SRC) to credit points into H365 (HPB), should have taken a photo of the form. It will take 4-5 working days to credit.

Yes at HSA, not a fan of the green bean soup but no other choices. Sandwich have egg mayo only while stocks lasts. Usually left with egg mayo + ham/cheese

Last Sunday walk in at Westgate around 2pm for 40th donation, receive HPB 200 point next day.

No Q, and many volunteer assisting with bandage. Talk to them and they volunteer from 9-6pm wow.

They wearing white tshirt with Red Cross logo. Just helping with bandage after 5min of rest and assist with cleaning of seat after donation.

Donate blood pain ma? I wanna do sth special this year on my bday by giving back. Never donated before but I got a bit low blood pressure though.
