I skipped Season 21 due to exams. From PTRs of season 21 and now season 22, I can see that it will be a matter of time when most players can clear GR150 on hardcore. Current active players worldwide is around 50k. The rest of the 950k players are waiting for diablo 4.

The trend now is rush in to play for the 1st 2 months of a new season. Then interest will die off.

Now is near end of season 21, hence is rather dead.
