Any1 done 1yr contract roles ... When is the right time to speak to Mgr about the future? 3months before? 2months before? :s11: :s11:

3months before is fine.... at least the company will need to know if they want extend or end the contract at the end. If ending contract, at least there's time to do handover

Always earlier than later..

Given your hesitation, I take it that you are not exactly on friendly terms with your manager? At least not friendly enough to ask directly?

Can always keep a lookout and toss resumes now.

I am friendly.. Just that he is a busy man. He works 12-16hrs a day in office. :s42:

Given that you are young, and relatively new to the workforce, it is important not to have difficult-to-explain resume gaps at this point of time. Securing your own rice bowl should take precedence over his busy schedule..

Unless you plan to take up skillsfuture courses to reskill as a cleaning supervisor or security supervisor.. ;)
