I have filled one up before, believe it or not. It holds 596 24Mp RAW images. Quite easy to fill if you spam shutter a bit. I filled 2x 32GB cards for the Singapore Night Festival in 2013 with about 1.2k shots. Of course, cleaning up was hell.

The D7100, I'm not sure if they can fully utilise the Extreme Pros at 90mb/s... might not be cost effective, but having said that, I am aware the extremes are out of stock at most shops, so... yeah. No choice I guess.

Oh definitely helps. I tested, also read up like crazy.

There's a table someone posted here that shows the distinct speed advantage of the Extreme Pros in the D7100.

Also an Amazon customer video review comparing the Lexar Professional 600x (80Mbps rating, or about the same as the Extreme Plus) with the Extreme Pro.

The video review is very telling.
