2023 where can i buy budget fish and aquarium stuff? My house very quiet feel like restarting my hobby to make my house more lively

i mean what size and what things u looking to keep also matters.

Some of the LFS are more focus on certain things else those general LFS might not have everything u wants.

Where do you live? It's also about convenience since you are starting a hobby and having to transport the heavier items such as tank, filter and lights etc. Also, aquariums offer a mix bag of high-end and low-end stuff. If you are looking for a short answer, then Nanyang Trading Aquarium, PolyArt (within famous Block 328 Clementi Ave 2 cluster), That Aquarium, 181 Aquarium, Toh Aquarium.

Transport matters... so far the mover quoted me $150 to move two 2ndhand 422 tanks and one stand. Total about 1k for tanks and one stand.

Maybe another 1k for canister filters/lights/filter media(filter pad, jap mat and lava rocks)

Two Arowana one in each tank seller quoted me 1 piece Red 8inch $468. 1 piece XB $268.

i mean what size and what things u looking to keep also matters.

Anyone keep track on TDS of our tap water?gl

During water change, I always take the TDS reading before adding anti-chlorine to the tap water.

It used to be in the range of 63 to 68, then it went up to around 75 last two week and today is 85 !!

This range up up down down plus minus is generally still okay
depending on the timing of the day also unless u keep shrimp


Eventually if bigger non too sensitive is to work on direct add water

BUT need to find be very sure when is water tank washing
