Classic series need to suck the pipe to prime the water flow.

Remembered the times I had tank water in my mouth and swallowed some of it.
Yeah same like you. Last time always get aquarium water in my mouth. Later found out as soon as the water starts moving can stop sucking liao.

I was recommended this LED from SunSun.
anyone using? is it good?

That looks expensive but looks nice too.

The shop is at blk 201D Tampines st 21. There is a big aquarium shop right next to the lighting shop.

If you are handy, you can also buy the led in strips. You can daisy chain two, three or even four strips. But you must find a way to stick it above the tank.

Ecco series 3 is good la
Cost abit more but higher capacity and more media comes with valves

. Lastly handle have the most complain it is a bit difficult must get used to it .

But if able pro3 is my fav.

With all these removable connections all the complains is about hard to remove , tight and blah blah ...which I feel it should be , less likely leak 😂

And dun be overzealous in cleaning those o rings grease 😂

I apply the grease every half year only on the big O ring.

Anyone used the Ocean Free Super Vitamins? Is it really a need to add that to keep our livestock healthy?

Wow!

That's really cheap.

I bought one like that about 5-6 years ago and it's about 150 bucks.

Go for that one coz it will fit nicely atop the tank.

got one this afternoon liao.
for a 2 ft tank, a LED light can range from $20+ to $50+.
many choices to choose from.

Just noticed these pinkish stuff in the wall of my crab tank. Anyone knows what caused this? Looks like they have been there for a while, dry and not wet...kind of gross actually....
