Oh yah, currently I only add chlorine removal in my changing water....

Then I see those in market, like Black Water, Anti Bacteria... Are those necessary as well?

no need all these.
just a good water conditioner will do.

C328 has a whole range or seachem product next to their cashier at the back. If sold out I’m pretty sure u can find one beside them

Dunno price.... probably $10+ for a bigger bottle

I seldom see people talk about rearing guppies, is there reasons why guppies are not that well liked?

The bloodline had been weakened by years of inbreeding and into fancy strains. Not really that hardly anymore.Sailfin mollies and swordtails also.

The same goes for my platies. If I can keep them alive for 4 years from birth, can be considered very good liao.

Letting my platies give birth is one thing.Bringing the fry to adulthood is another issue.

I guess 2-4 years if you keep them well?

But you must minus off at least 1-2 years cos they might be around that age by the time they reach the LFS and waiting for you to bring them home.

now they only do selective breeding. Guppies can no longer live that long. Normal lifespan is around 1.5 years

I am curious....even for platies,mollies and swordtails?

The longest I had a platy was close to 4 years.
