Okay...ADA, the expensive stuffs. Amano Takashi basically is the takumi when we talking about ADA Aquarium setup. Most of the time, he would dive into streams of specific places such as those in Japan, in Amazon etc. Here, you look at those small ADA bottles which can be anywhere from $30 to $60. So ADA is consider high end setup.
I want you all to observe how he put the substrate, the side are usually not covered. Fish poo usually gathers at the side, so most algae growth starts from the side of the tank.
Bacteria Colony, now in the beginning, when you add bacteria powder, whatever brand you chose, you put more. Once established, unless there is a huge loss of water and replacement, then you do minute adding.
If Amano was there, he would insist that the front of fauna be totally straight. Japanese have certain attitude when it comes to absolutely being right.
In this setup you see misting cultivation instead of flooding cultivation method. The tank would be cover with clean wrap on top to avoid evaporation, thus keeping the tank moist. For this, filter are not added yet.
