My S Graded LG V50 order via qoo was cancelled after 2 weeks, wtf?

Right now im looking at either LG V50 or LG V50S via shoppe.

Thinking to get a new with dual screen, which one would be more value for money?

BRAND NEW LG V50S - S$660 (with dual screen) https://shopee.sg/-LG-V50S-Brand-New-Factory-Unlocked-Full-box-i.156479521.5612038742

OR

BRAND NEW LG V50 - S$619 (with dual screen) https://shopee.sg/-BRAND-NEW-Original-LG-V50-Thinq-128G-SUPER-GIFTS-i.129906322.4414962511

LG V50S has bigger ram and storage and better charging speed and front finger print scanner.

LG V50 has 3 back camera compared to V50S that has 2.

Look like V50S is the winner?

Also, any expert know how to activate or can camp for any voucher on shopee?

v50s-thinq-dual-sim-256gb-5g-negru-8gb-ram_10061639_6_1572872889.jpg

S$660.00

Brand new set come with dual screen. - Hassle free, everything new.

If i buy S grade S$369 + S$130 = S$499 (maybe -$20 discount) S$479

S$181 more - you get brand new set to unbox, no need worry to get green screen or whatever defect, what you guys think?

I bought the lg v50s mostly because i cant stand the dual screen not being symmetrical , if you are not going to use the dual screen much , then the lg v50 is probably the better buy at $181 cheaper.

Personally i dont use the camera much, so missing zoom lens dont bother me, if i need to zoom ill use my oppo 10x zoom.

The extra 128GB ram is very nice ans 8GB ram is good too.

Wanting to hoot because of the dual screen. I know plenty of phone has this split screen feature and it won't be as nice as having a screen on YouTube/WhatsApp and chrome on another :)

Mind sharing how LG V50 dual screen is not symmetry?

I can chip in.

First off, the panels are different in size so manufactured differently, and color temperature difference is apparent though whether it is annoying depends on individuals.

The DS is smaller. When in wide mode, the software will crop slightly the screen display size on the main screen to create one screen with straight sides. However in wide mode, there are no corner curvatures on the main screen (because of the earlier cropping) but on the DS there are.

To me, the above differences are not annoying. The draw of the v50s to me is the better DS battery performance, which is traded off with the shorter overall length and the better camera setup of the V50 DS.

Have fun choosing!

Able to share if the LG V50S has dual SIM or just single SIM?

And for LG phone does it has dual WhatsApp messenger just like Samsung?

Thanks a lot!

If you get from the usual suspect in Qoo10 and shopee, they are Korean sets, so they are single SIM.

The stock V50 comes with dual app for Whatsapp. If you know how to play with ADB, there is a guide at XDA for installing almost any app as a dual app. :D

If putting on dual screen all the time, how to protect it?

Keep the whole phone in pouch/sleeves?

I have own 2 phones LG v50, and LG v50s, my friend already get Taiwan LG v60 set.

Face recognition can be find in LG v50, but not for v60 and v50s. To me, V60 is not much difference from LG v50s, but you expect is better snapdragon 865 , longer screen and better ASMR sound quality.

By the way, the charging small connector is different from v50s and v60.

Basically the second screen is phone cover (but is more expensive phone cover lol).. if you really protect, just get a phone pouch and screen protectors.
